25 Smith Street is an 8 storey office tower that is fully leased by Insurance Australia Group. The building takes full advantage of the corner aspect of the site with the entrance located predominantly on Smith Street. The architectural character of the building recognises its position, the historic elements of Parramatta and responds sympathetically with more recent curtain wall buildings. Retail tenancies activate the facades at street level and the lobby contains an interpretive artwork which reflects the heritage aspect of the site. Leighton Properties received an Award of Merit in the Commercial category of the Parramatta Council's Heritage Awards (2007) for the interpretive artwork.
