First home buyers Ryan Sawers and Lauren French celebrated the start of the new decade by being the first residents to move into their brand new home at Leighton Properties’ Beckmans Green residential estate, Noosaville.
Although they didn’t have to worry about turning the music down at their New Year’s celebrations this year, with over 40% of available lots sold in Beckmans Green’s current release it won’t be long until there are many more neighbours ready to join the party.
Mr Sawers, who works as painter and Ms French who is a financial planner, are Noosa locals who first secured their Beckmans Green block in mid 2009. After engaging Queensland based Pantha Homes to build their three bedroom dream home in late 2009 it was only three months later that the couple moved in.
Ryan and Lauren decided to become home owners after taking advantage of the Federal Government’s First Home Owners Boost Scheme and then deciding on Beckmans Green based on the estate’s convenient location and value for money.
“As first home buyers we wanted to purchase in a good suburb like Noosaville that was close to shops and schools and still had some connection to the natural beauty of the area,” Mr Sawers said.
Ms French said that the community facilities such as cycle and walking paths, conservation park and a children’s playground all set against bushland backdrops appealed to the couple and she and Ryan were looking forward to being part of the new Beckmans Green community
According to recent REIQ data the Noosaville home market has remained strong with 5.9% growth measured in the last five years (REIQ Queensland Market Monitor, September Quarter, 2009).
January 15, 2010 will see the first auction take place on site at Beckmans Green at 10am. A three bedroom, two bathroom designer home with high quality fixtures and fittings, air-conditioning and water tank will go under the hammer. The lucky purchaser will have the added benefit of a long term settlement (offered until June 30, 2010).
