CIMIC Group Limited, as the parent company of the CIMIC Group, owns and operates through a number of diverse and independent operating companies: CPB Contractors (previously Leighton Contractors); Thiess; Leighton Asia, India and Offshore; and Leighton Properties. The companies operate in more than 25 countries from headquarters in Australia, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Dubai. Together, they employ over 50,000 people.
HOW EACH COMPANY OPERATES
Each company functions independently with its own Managing Director, with management encouraged to innovate and be successful in an autonomous manner.
At the same time, a corporate governance framework, defined by CIMIC Group Ltd, sets standards for ethics and financial performance; health safety and rehabilitation; and community and environmental standards.
