Kings Square on the rise
Bradley Norris 30 JUL 2014
As part of the $5.2 billion Perth City Link project initiated by the WA State Government, construction on Kings Square towers KS1, KS2, and KS3 commenced in June 2013.
In June 2014, KS1 reached Level 7 and the team is currently engaging with the market for commercial occupiers.
Whilst KS2 also reached level 7 in June 2014, where Shell has committed to 100% of the office space. There are talks in progress for a number of different national and local businesses for retail leasing opportunities in KS2.
The retail component of KS3 will be home to a 24 hour/7 day gym, Surge Fitness Centre; Buggles, a 92 placement childcare centre; and a modern, high-class restaurant will pick up 800 square metres of space.
John Holland has committed to all commercial space in KS3, and the ground floor slab is currently being poured.
Bradley Norris, Project Director, presented the Kings Square project on behalf of Leighton Properties at the Leading Partners Breakfast Presentation on Thursday 12 June, attended by the Property Council of Australia, the Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority, and the Lord Mayor of Perth Lisa Scaffidi.
Held at the Hyatt Regency, the meeting was the highest-attended leading partner breakfast they’ve held.
