Leighton Properties structures for growth

At Leighton Properties we announced organisational changes that align the company's structure with our strategic focus on growth in the commercial and residential markets.
Taking effect from 1 September, we will operate on a national basis with two business units – Commercial and Residential – supported by a national Operations team. Our three existing offices in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne will remain integral to client relationships and provide superior performance to our east coast developments. All staff will continue in their current locations.
I'm pleased to announce the appointment of Gavin Tonnet to the position of National Head of Residential commencing on 22 August 2011. Gavin will be responsible for mixed use projects which have a major residential apartment component. Gavin has previously held senior roles with Mirvac and Sekisui House.
Andrew Borger will take up the position of National Head of Commercial after previously holding the role of Queensland State Manager. Andrew Cooper will shift from New South Wales State Manager to take on the role of National Head of Operations.
Brian McGuckin has been appointed Queensland General Manager and Commercial Project Director. Stephen Rayleigh has taken on an additional role as National Leasing Manager.
It's a very exciting time for Leighton Properties as we continue to pursue our strategy to expand our business and look for both residential and commercial sites nationally.
