Leighton Properties celebrated its 40th anniversary in October and November with a number of major events held nationally. Since our inception 40 years ago we have developed a formidable reputation for consistently creating and delivering world-class projects that set benchmarks in quality, design and sustainability.
As market fundamentals continue to strengthen around the country, we have reached some important milestones over the past quarter; notably the $167.5 million sale of our Eclipse project in Parramatta, recorded as the highest ever sale of any "A-grade" commercial office building outside Sydney's CBD.
We successfully reached the practical completion of both our King George Central and Riverside projects in Brisbane and launched our first major residential project, Erko in Erskineville, Sydney to overwhelming demand.
I am pleased to announce that we have recently been shortlisted as one of four favoured consortiums to re-develop the One William Street precinct in Brisbane City.
The Company has been building a presence in Perth as we continue to leverage strong demand in resource-backed markets including the City Link urban redevelopment and the joint venture with Seven Entertainment on the Kings Square project.
As we move to an exciting new era for Leighton Properties, I wish to personally thank our talented team and their many years of service, as without them we could never achieved the success we have experienced over our past 40 years of operations.
