Mosaic Construction Underway

Construction at Mosaic has been underway for approximately 10 months - an impressive 767 personnel have been inducted on the site. The slabs and core have been progressing well, with the main structure coming up in the basement. The stripping of forms has commenced in preparation for the installation of the initial mechanical services. The jumpform now sits well above the hoarding that surrounds the site, giving a prominent external presence to the project.
Valley Chamber of Commerce event
On 25th October, Mosaic hosted a Valley Chamber of Commerce networking evening in the sales display. Over 50 guests representing FortitudeValley retailers and businesses joinedLeighton Properties QueenslandGeneral Manager, Brian McGuckinand Sharon Caudwell, the QueenslandState Sales Manager from Silverneedle Hospitality. The topic was The Mosaic Grand Chifley Hotel filling an acknowledged gap in the market for new boutique hotel solutions in Brisbane. Providing significant investment in the Valley, the hotel will activate Mosaic's retail and dining, benefit the apartment residents and add to the overall liveliness of the precinct.
Supporting the McGrath Foundation
Following on from the installation of Brisbane's brightest and most obvious pink crane, the Matrix team are continuing their support of the McGrath Foundation. Each Saturday, Matrix puts on a site BBQ, with all money raised going directly to the McGrath Foundation. Since its inception, an impressive $1,500 has been raised from that initiative alone.
